A night of pure mischief and wonder as I kicked off my first official Halloween soiree in almost 10 years! From extravagant costumes to ghostly jazz musicians, the evening was full of pure Halloween essence.

INSPIRED BY

Prepare yourself a Dark and Stormy and head over to my Pinterest page. There you'll find a curated collection of all things that inspire my vision of Halloween. From eerie photography to interior design fit for the perfect Halloween soiree, I've found incredible inspiration around the world that is sure to send chills down your spine and help evoke the spirit of Halloween.

ABOUT ME

Ever since I could understand what a holiday was, I knew that Halloween was sure to always be one of my favorites. It was when I discovered the magic behind movie making, fueled by my favorites such as Hocus Pocus, Halloween and The Haunted Mansion, that I knew I too could create something truly magical that would transport people into a different realm and escape reality for one night (month). Every year my Halloween display would continue to grow and attract people from afar and I myself would also continue to grow in what I was capable of creating.

From spinning webs out of hot glue guns and carving tombstones from foam to concocting elaborate cocktails and displaying them in vintage glassware it was evident I needed to showcase my vision of Halloween to the world. My home display, known as Love Manor (visit the website, here), caught the attention of Nate Berkus, Martha Stewart, The Home Depot. Director and writer Michael Dougherty soon was also. caught by the detail of my creations and introduced me to Legendary Pictures -  Who then hired me on to theme their offices for the spoke holiday as well as design the press party for the announcement of

Trick 'R Treat - the sequel.

My joy of Halloween will always continue to grow and evolve. I hope to continue hosting unforgettable parties and production designing more Halloween themed commercials, tv shows and films. As Sir Arthur Conan Doyle said "...where there is no imagination, there is no horror."

Halloween with Legendary Pictures

The past few Halloweens I have been so honored to bring the festivities to life over at Legendary Pictures. From production designing their Trick 'r Treat Q & A and sequel announcement at the Egyptian Theater in Hollywood to frightening up their offices in Burbank, here's a few of my favorite photos.

PRODUCTION DESIGN FOR SHUDDER / DIRECTED BY: MICHAEL DOUGHERTY

The Halloween season wouldn't be complete without the annual Ghoul Log on Shudder. For this unique project I designed a miniature neighborhood to shoot in front of which gave the appearance of an actual street on All Hallows Eve. Complete with falling leaves and toilet papered trees of course.
